I know you probably already know this, but I'm singling out my clients on this one.
Free samples at Whole Foods and Farmer's markets count when counting your calories! It's the sneaky things that add up. When you make food for your kid(s), chew on a piece of gum, suck a wedge of lemon or drink a glass of water whilst preparing. It will keep your mouth busy and not add up at the end of the day. Of course, you can tongue wag on the phone or with your spouse and that'll burn more calories then snacking while preparing a meal.
