Darlings,
In Lady Yoga fashion, it is my goal to look back in history to see where we have come from, find the yoga in the moments past to keep us rooted in the present and passionate about where we are going in the future.
On that note...
St. Patrick’s Day celebrates the life of the Irish St. Patrick. In honor of spring, just around the corner and St. Patty’s Day we use these Irish sayings and proverbs to celebrate and the symbolism and celebration of St. Patrick's day. Shamrocks represent rebirth, green is the color of the heart chakra and represents good luck.
Lay out your mat, open your heart, imbibe a green Guinness and celebrate, because a new season is upon us!!
There are good ships, and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea. But the best ships are friendships, and may they always be.
Here's to you and yours, and to mine and ours. And if mine and ours ever come across to you and yours, I hope you and yours will do as much for mine and ours as mine and ours have done for you and yours!
May your home always be too small to hold all your friends.
May you never forget what is worth remembering, or remember what is best forgotten.
May you get all your wishes but one, so you always have something to strive for.
Here's to you as good as you are and here's to me as bad as I am. As Good As you are and as bad as I am, I'm as Good as you are, as Bad As I am!
Here's to me, and here's to you. And here's to love and laughter- I'll be true as long as you, and not one moment after.
May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the happiest day of your past.
Here's to you, here's to me, the best of friends we'll always be. But if we ever disagree, forget you here's to ME!!
May your neighbors respect you, troubles neglect you, the angels protect you, and Heaven accept you.
As you slide down the banisters of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way.
May the wind at your back always be your own.
May your thoughts be as glad as the shamrocks. May your heart be as light as a song,
May each day bring you bright, happy hours, that stay with you all the year long.
May your blessings outnumber The Shamrocks that grow.
And may trouble avoid you Wherever you go.
The future is not ours to know, and it may never be- so let us live and give our best and give it lavishly!
May you be rich in blessings, poor in misfortune, slow to make enemies, quick to make friends. But rich or poor, slow or quick, may you know nothing but happiness from this day forward.
Erin go Bragh,
Lady Ireland
