Darlings,
There's good history that we celebrate, like THANKSGIVING!!
...and there's bad history...that'd we'd like to forget...like the hangover or the regret of eating a slice of pumpkin that turned into two over the fond memories of past Thanksgivings when your funny aunt wore that crazy hat and eventually three slices turns into the whole dang pie and your aunt and your belly ain't something to laugh about the day after.
Wasn't me, I swear.
Or, er, Enron, we'd like to forget but it happens to be the anniversary of and 'cuz I'm Lady, I see the yoga in ALL history and so, I see this moment, this trial, this polar opposite, yin to yang, both forces...mistakes and mending, blunder to healing. An order to propel a moment in history toward strength of purpose forward.
I love history. We love to celebrate it but there’s also that part we admonish.
Not all history is something to be proud of. We need the mistakes to see where we come from and where we are going.
There is yoga in that.
When we look back at this week in history, we remember the embarrassing event in Enron, the energy trading company that filed for bankruptcy (on December 2nd, 2001). It was one of the largest corporate bankruptcies and financial scandals in U.S. history cost investors billions of dollars.
Not a good thing.
If we can move past that mistake as a country we can individually look past and forgive our own personal mistakes. Today, our collective intention is to move forward in truth, goodness and passion. Move past your trials, your bender with chocolate chip cookies, your mistakes and triumph over the moment at hand. Succeed or fail and let yourself try again. You are safe. You are here. You showed up. To practice or to read. Move forward and let go.
Wasn't me, I swear...

More power to ya. Check your p's and q's. Dot your i's and cross your t's. Don't make the news and if you make any noise. Do it silently, fall out gracefully and stand strong again purposefully.
