Kitchadi Kitchen

This is the first Kitchadi Kitchen I ran for Ayurfoods. We held it at Liberation Yoga in Hollywood, in their garden space. What a great day for a picnic!

I am such a believer in the science of Ayurveda as a great tandem to living and being yoga. For more info on Kitchadi's wonderful nutritional benefits and to set up a kitchadi kitchen at your studio, contact me [email protected]
Namaste!

Based on Ayurveda, Kitchadi is a sattvik or balancing food that supports the main mission of yoga - “uniting – body, mind and spirit”. It nourishs and rejuvenates the whole person. Kitchadi is full of “Prana (life energy) (when cooked fresh), 100% Vegan and 100% Vegetarian. They are well-balanced – i.e. they have the correct proportions of proteins, carbs and fats. Most importantly they are delicious and tasty as they contain all six tastes (sweet, sour, pungent, astringent, salty and bitter). It tastes fantastic and is a great base or side with your favorite veggies or soups. A super nutritional add to someone practicing yoga.

Best of all, Ayurfoods has made it easy and affordable to make a healthy meal for yourself and your family.
